Five mother-daughter teams enter a program with Life Coach Laura, in an attempt to fix their problems. Through tailored exercises and intense personal coaching, they must put everything on the line in order to save their relationships.

The Ibrahim Family faces a large hurdle when daughter Luna and her mother Amal are unable to see eye-to-eye. While struggling to maintain her perfect veneer, Mom Ashley backs herself into conflict with two daughters.

Mom Ashley's drama with the Ibrahims propels her into a downward spiral. The mothers and daughters have a breakthrough after an intense game of Never Have I Ever. An ill-fated lunch pushes Shun to her breaking point.

A group session takes an unexpected turn when Laura challenges Shun and Amber to change their attitudes. Mom Ashley learns the real impact of her negative words on daughter Brittany.

In a private session with Laura, Ashley is forced to face her biggest fear when she must write a possible eulogy in the event of Velvet's death. Shun takes Laura aside to express concerns about the program.

Luna and Ruba demand Amal take responsibility for her part in their fractured relationship. Tonja and Kami face a big decision after a request from Laura.

In an effort to work on their communication, moms and daughters team up on a scavenger hunt. The women have an opportunity to view their progress in the program so far, leading one of the moms to take a big step.

The mothers and daughters are put to one final test in an exercise that forces them to confront their greatest fears. The women come together for an emotional farewell dinner.
