In 1950, Wei Zhenghua took on the identity of Zheng Xiongcai to join the Korean War. On the battlefield, he earned glory through countless acts of bravery, yet endured the agony of loss: brothers in arms scattered, comrades and loved ones sacrificed. Alongside his fellow soldiers, he fought through blood and fire, thwarting enemy conspiracies and a biological warfare campaign, culminating in a decisive victory. In 1953, the war ended. Seven decades later, a white-haired Wei Zhenghua unfurls his battle flag, honoring the fallen and paying tribute to a hard-won peace.
