Season 3

Episodes

Cracked Flip
Tarek and Christina come across a listing for a newer home in Yorba Linda, California that has great potential but has seen better days. The owner is motivated to sell quickly which could yield an enticing deal; but it also means Tarek and Christina won't have much time to inspect if they want to wrap up this investment property. The home is newer and will require mostly cosmetic fixes, but a series of cracks inside and outside have piqued Tarek and Christina's interest. Can they handle the problems hidden throughout this house or will they crack up before they can finish this cracked flip?

Toxic Flip
Tarek and Christina get a lead on a small house that's aggressively priced and could be a lucrative deal based on comparable sales in the neighborhood. They go to inspect the house before making a decision and find it boarded up and in rough shape. Despite its condition, the numbers are promising and they've done well in this area before. They decide to take the calculated risk and buy the home, its interior still sight unseen. Can Tarek and Christina keep this project under control to see risk through to reward or could hidden troubles turn this house into a toxic flip?

Custom Craftsman
Tarek and Christina are contacted by a fellow flipper who has purchased a Craftsman-style home in an historic area of Santa Ana, California. It will take both skill sets to finish this project as he specializes in renovating older, architecturally significant homes, while Tarek and Christina excel at bringing in a flip on schedule and on budget.

Abandoned Flip
Tarek and Christina find a promising short-sale property in Long Beach, California, but find the massive renovations the previous owners began are only partly finished. With the house in various states of disrepair, Tarek and Christina are excited to have a clean slate for design but cautious about the problems that could be lurking in a homeowner's do-it-yourself renovation.

Junk Yard Flip
Tarek and Christina spot an interesting property with an attractive backyard structure in Long Beach, California. Because the house is currently tenant-occupied, they must make their decision without the benefit of personally inspecting the property. Tarek and Christina make a deal to buy the property, but when they arrive as the new owners, they are shocked by what they find.

Pipe Dreams
Tarek and Christina come across a For Sale By Owner property in Garden Grove, California. This type of sale is always exciting for a flipper because it means no real estate agent commissions and an opportunity to negotiate a fair sale price. The house is in good shape and looks to need only cosmetic repairs and improvements. But in the business of flipping, one can rarely judge an old house by its finishes and it is truly what's on the inside that counts. Can Tarek and Christina deal with the hidden problems of an old house or will their hopes of a fast and easy flip turn out to be nothing but pipe dreams?

Freeway Flip
Tarek and Christina get a lead on a home for sale in a historic neighborhood of Anaheim, California. It's well-priced but will need a lot of renovation work. They know old homes possess a certain charm and character, but they also tend to have a host of unknown problems and costs.

No Risk, No Reward
Tarek and Christina get a lead on a trust sale property in Anaheim, California with an original layout and a dated design. It's in good shape and seems like a mostly cosmetic project with a lot of potential. But when their project manager comes back with a ballooning budget and a laundry list of contingencies, Tarek and Christina wonder if this home has more potential than pitfalls. Still, skilled flippers that they are, Tarek and Christina don't back down from a challenge and know that with no risk, comes no reward.

Too Good to Be True
Tarek and Christina find a clean house in good shape that is aggressively priced in comparison to comparable properties in the area. It appears as good as advertised, so they quickly make an offer to snatch up this fast and simple cosmetic flip. But when they return as excited new owners a few days later, they are floored by what they discover.

A Flip with the Enemy
A fellow flipper contacts Tarek and Christina about partnering on a house and wants to split the time, money and profit down the middle. With Tarek and Christina playing both mentor and business partner, they hope potential budget and design disagreements won't dissolve their friendship and profit into a flip with the enemy.

Big Lot Little Flip
Tarek and Christina spot a small, run-down listing in Buena Park, California, that sits on a very large lot with an attractive asking price. With no time for close inspection, Tarek and Christina place an offer before they really know what they're getting into.

The Money Pit
Tarek and Christina make an offer on an attractive property in Norwalk, California, sight unseen. But as work on this weathered house begins, they worry whether they will be able to maintain their projected profit margin or if a bursting budget will dig this flip into a money pit.

Thrifty vs. Glitzy
Tarek and Christina are contacted by an investor who has found a newer construction home in Orange, California, that needs cosmetic updating and should prove to be a fast, simple flip. But while he and Tarek are ready to move quickly on their inexpensive game plan, Christina is not so easily convinced.

A Dinky Flip
Tarek and Christina get a lead on a small and outdated property in Downey, California, that has potential to be a fast, cosmetic flip. Tarek believes the reward will outweigh the risk, but as renovations begin, problems and disagreements rise to the top.

A Pig in a Poke
Tarek and Christina feel confident making an offer on a tenant-occupied trust sale in Fullerton, California. They arrive at their new house ready to design, but are stopped in their tracks as they could not have anticipated what they find.
