Season 1

Episodes

Flipping the Canoe
Birmingham Alabama's top flippers, Cody and Paul, take on a bungalow called the Canoe House, filled with boats, rotting rafters, and a rising tide of budget overruns. Paul has a vision to create a hip, urban escape. But Cody struggles to keep Paul's expensive tastes and never-ending plans on-budget and on-time for an open house. With Matt and the sales team looking for a quick deal to close, the crew races against a stream of setbacks--failed inspections, a leaking roof, and tiny closets that seem to make potential buyers bail on Paul's dreamboat of a build. Will it all come together in the end, or will this flip sink before the sale?

Sunken Tudor Sinking Profits
In Birmingham, Alabama, the flipping team of Cody and Paul discovers what appears to be a hidden gem of a brick house they call "Sunken Tudor," only to find out that termites, rot, and rats have taken up residence first. A complete overhaul, literally from top to bottom, is needed, and rising costs threaten to sink this project. After replacing the entire first floor's joists, they build a new main suite, give the exterior a unique facelift, and add modern amenities to highlight its many vintage features. But as they raise this Sunken Tudor to new heights, will their profits take a nosedive?

Spooky Basement, Scary Flip
Cody and Paul, owners of Birmingham, Alabama's fastest growing flipping company, take on a house they call "Spooky Basement," confident it will be their easiest flip. But they've clearly jinxed themselves when bad electrical systems, failed inspections and cost overruns make flip downright scary. Adding totally new systems, a funky kitchen, and an over-the-top main bathroom to the house's vintage features, they aim to overcome the curse. But as the work mounts and their 30-day flip deadline approaches, they'll have to pull the whole team together if they want to bring this deal back from the dead.

Achy Shaky Flip
In Birmingham, Alabama, the flipping team of Cody and Paul buy a house from the city land bank, which sells empty and abandoned houses to people willing to turn them into affordable homes. Called the Shake House, it appears to be an easy flip that quickly gets turned upside down by a broken water main, failing equipment, and cost overruns. Shaken as well as stirred, the flippers race against the clock to meet a very aggressive open house deadline for Matt and the Sales Team. If they miss this window, they'll have to pull the Shake from the market for 30 days, which will devastate their shrinking profit margin.

Mid-Century Money Maker
Birmingham's top flipping company, Flip Apollo, tackles its most challenging project ever with a mid-century showpiece inspired by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Lead designer Paul wants this house to become the company's signature piece, but costly surprises seem to be waiting for them around every corner, from a hand-dug septic system to a downpour that floods through their ceilings. As the schedule bloats and the budget balloons, can owners Paul and Cody salvage this project, or will their dream home turn into a money pit?
