East London

In this programme, the Flowerpot Gang are at a housing estate in Poplar, east London. The children here are unable to use the estate's open spaces. With antisocial behaviour a persistent problem, many of the gates remain permanently locked and as a result, hundreds of families only have tiny balconies to play on and hardly any space to grow things.

So can the Flowerpot Gang help the community resurrect one of the unused spaces? And will families start to use it again and discover the power of gardening?
