Alex Scott and guests preview the weekend's fixtures, with the first major trophy of the English season decided on Sunday when Chelsea face Liverpool in the EFL Cup final.
The Wembley showpiece is a repeat of the 2022 final, which Liverpool won 11-10 on penalties after an entertaining game had finished goalless. That gave Liverpool a record ninth League Cup title, and they will be especially eager to clinch more silverware for manager Jurgen Klopp in his final season in charge of the club. The German's opposite number Mauricio Pochettino has yet to win a trophy in England, while Chelsea are chasing their first domestic trophy since 2018.
In the Premier League, title contenders Manchester City and Arsenal are both in action, while Leeds v Leicester is the standout fixture in the Championship.
