The human heart is a profound science. People commit crimes because they are dominated by emotions such as greed, anger, and jealousy. Yu Xingbai, a senior chemist of the Forensic Affairs Department, finds out evidence with incisive methods. He is admired by the hot-blooded policewoman Huo Baoying, and composes a love that cannot be calculated scientifically. Fan Peiqing, a senior doctor in the forensic department, is calm and wise, and is silently guarded by the rogue doctor Qin Kenan, breaking through the predicament. Jing Haoran, a senior inspector of the serious crime team, works tirelessly with Tan Qianwen, a slash woman, to support each other and pursue the truth. Facing the disappearing evidence, the lost predicament, and the cunning murderer, the forensic team must restore justice to the living and avenge the grievances of the dead.
