An Italian woman and a Danish man fall head over heels in love and get married. They move to Denmark and are each other's everything. Even when life is most difficult, she never returns to her Italian roots. But the question is, is there any family left? Mette Frisk and archivist Adam Jon Kronegh go in search of heir-entitled relatives of a deceased person and along the way try to find out why the heirs and the deceased have lost contact.
