Marie has carried a big secret all her life. At a very young age, she became pregnant and gave birth to a son, whom she gave away. Only at Marie's own funeral - 75 years later - is her secret revealed. It comes as a shock to the immediate family, and together with Mette Frisk and Adam Jon Kronegh, they now start the hunt to find the unknown son, so that he can get his share of the inheritance from Marie.
