In this episode, Frank cuts down a poplar tree that is endangering his sheep pen. This gives him the opportunity to use his Norwegian horse drawn timber sledge when transporting the timber away. Additionally, Frank is attempting to master applying clay plaster to the walls of his new house as well as beginning the fabrication of the doors to his black smith.

Frank's cow has begun producing enough milk, that he is able to make a special cheese. New grafting branches are planted from apple seeds left by the cider press. Lastly, Frank wants to paint the upstairs walls by spraying with different colors of clay.

100 procent selvforsyning i Nepal - Del 1
In this first of a two-part episode, Frank travels to a remote village in Nepal, where he gains inspiration on how to run his own farmstead. Frank also tries to make his own doko (a basket), how to de-shell, and how to make a traditional knife. Frank also tries to weave, a feat many of the village women finds amusing, since it is usually not a job for men.

In this second episode of Frank's adventures to Nepal, he finishes his doko basket and attempts to use it. He is taught how flour is milled by hand and how to make a clay oven. Additionally, Frank sees how the villagers utilizes biogas and gets an idea on how he may be able to apply this to his own farm.

With help from his trusty chainsaw, some oak sticks and a few willow branches, Frank has begun hedge laying in true welsh style. Frank also travels to Fyn to dig up a large chestnut tree and bring home. The newly built black smith is fired up and the first job is to make hinges to the doors he constructed previously.

Frank is excited to see if his experiment with planting strawberries in sheep's wool, will yield any positive result. He is also experimenting with rolling his seeds in clay and spreading them by hand will give his fields better growing conditions. Lastly, we return to the door hinges created in the last episode, which are now being mounted on the door, but will they close?

Frank is force to use his wits and creativeness when attempting to place a large, heavy wooden beam in his stables. His hotbed needs repairs and a grapevine with too many seeds in the grapes is replaced by a kaki tree. Six new goslings joins the ranks on his farm.

Everything from his newly acquired chestnut tree, to the welsh hedge and the pees are growing according to plan. However, so are all the weeds; Frank is therefore forced to grab his trusty hoe and get to work. The only thing not growing, are his strawberries planted in sheep's wool. Frank is joined by his young son and together they build a transportable rabbit cage.

An old windmill is in need of a new propeller, in order to properly pump water. Frank attempts to place a large stone from a mill in the hallway of his new house. However, to do this, he needs to remove the floor and heating elements that have already been install before he can proceed. The newly constructed transportable rabbit cage is finally ready for use, which is fortunate as their rabbit will soon give birth.

Yet another machine has arrived on the farm. watch as the whole family join in, as the hay on the field is pressed and stored away. The undercarriage of his wagon needs repair, while Frank attemps to reduce noise from the second floor by insulating with crushed clay pieces.
