Season 1
Preston
Episodes

Episode 1
Freddie Flintoff attempts to create a brand new cricket team from an unlikely group of teens. He is determined to prove that anyone can play competitive cricket, whatever their background.
Undeterred by the somewhat negative reception to his idea, he holds try-outs in his hometown of Preston and starts a training regime with a group of lively teenagers. He meets 15-year-old Sean, who has attended several different schools, and 17-year-old Ammar, who moved to the UK six years ago and had never even heard of Freddie. The boys have a lot to learn in a very short space of time, as they will ultimately be competing against teams that have been playing together for years, whereas most of these boys have never even picked up a cricket bat before.
Although they have just a few weeks of chaotic training and only a vague notion of the rules, Freddie is keen to test the boys' progress and get them to play their first ever cricket match. However, not everyone in his urban posse is impressed with the rural setting or the traditions of cricket that Freddie is trying to draw them to.

Episode 2
After the chaos of the first match, sporting legend Freddie Flintoff is on the hunt for a cricket club for his unlikely team to call home. He also needs funding, but some of the boys' behaviour is threatening the side's ability to prepare for their next match.
A surprising new addition to the team gives Freddie and the boys a fighting chance of securing their first victory. If he can keep the team under control, then his dream of taking kids who have never played cricket and giving them a lasting love of the game might just come true.

Episode 3
Freddie must galvanise his new cricket team to take on an elite private school. However, a split in the ranks is threatening the training sessions, and Freddie must do all he can to bring the team back together to take on their toughest challenge yet. He also has to make sure their new cricket club is renovated and open for the start of the season. He invites some of England's top ex-professionals to play one final match against his boys to celebrate the reopening of the club, and for the first time he plays alongside the boys. But has he managed to fulfil his wish and create a legacy for the both the team and the local community?
