Michael Palin travels around the Pacific rim. He starts in the Diomede Islands in the Bering Strait, goes to see the Kodiak bear in Alaska and visits the geysers and hot springs of Kamchatka.

Japan and Korea
In this episode Michael Palin samples the oddity of Oriental life while passing through Japan and South Korea.

China and Vietnam
Michael Palin enters China by boat from Korea. He visits the cities of Qingdao and Shanghai and takes a local steamer down the Yangtze.

Hanoi and Philippines
Michael Palin visits Hanoi, takes a sampan on the Perfume River, witnesses psychic surgery, sees the Cu Chi tunnels, judges a beauty contest and fails to see the Banaue rice terraces.

Borneo, Malaysia, and Indonesia
From the Philippines, Michael Palin crosses the Sulu sea in a leaky ferry. He travels on through the Borneo jungle to Java where he climbs a volcano.

Australia and New Zealand
Michael Palin reaches Australia where his activities include a cameo role in Home and Away. He also looks for sperm whales in New Zealand's icy waters.

Cape Horn, Chile, and Bolivia
Michael Palin lands on Cape Horn, parties on Chiloé, visits Santiago, the Juan Fernández Islands and La Paz, and crosses the Andes by a train which is derailed.

Peru and Machu Picchu
Michael Palin takes a reed boat on Lake Titicaca in the Andes, before an 1,000 mile journey along the Urubamba river to the Amazon.

Amazon Basin, Colombia, and Bogota
From a canoe in the Peruvian rainforest, Michael Palin visits Machiguenga Indian villages in one of remotest spots on planet. He then he sails down Amazon on a restored riverboat.

Mexico City, LA, San Francisco, and Canada
Michael Palin travels from Mexico City to the Diomede Islands where his trek began. He meets up with illegal immigrants in Mexico, cruises San Francisco's gay scene and visits Alcatraz.

Bob's Burgers
The series follows Bob who runs Bob's Burgers, with the help of his wife and their three kids. Bob has big ideas about burgers, but the rest of the clan falls short on service. Despite the greasy counters and lousy location, the Belchers are determined to make every "Grand Re-Re-Re-opening" a success. Bob's wife, Linda, stands by her man and often does so by bursting into song. Their eldest daughter, 13-year-old Tina has a slight obsession with boys and zombies. Middle child Gene is an aspiring musician with a thirst for life. Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.

Resident Alien
Resident Alien is a dark, twisted and comedic fish-out-of-water story that follows a crash-landed alien named Harry who, after taking on the identity of a small-town Colorado doctor, slowly begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his secret mission on Earth — ultimately asking the question, "Are human beings worth saving?"

Beyond the Gates
Beyond the Gates is set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington D.C., and in one the most affluent African American counties in the United States.
