Episode 1
In the first of four special programmes celebrating the joy that the gardening year brings, Monty harvests his favourite winter veg, demonstrates how to take hardwood cuttings and plants up a container with tulips for a display of spring colour.
Joe Swift meets TV presenter AJ Odudu and discovers her passion for houseplants, Carol Klein visits RHS Rosemoor in Devon, a garden with enough colour and texture to brighten even the darkest of winter days, and Sue Kent and Toby Buckland take an inspirational trip to Piet Oudolf's garden at Hauser & Wirth in Somerset.
The head gardener at West Dean Gardens in West Sussex shares his tips on growing ranunculus, and there's a look at an incredible collection of bamboo at Trebah Garden in Cornwall. There's also a chance to see what viewers have been getting up to in their gardens.

Rachel de Thame visits Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire, a garden designed to look its best in winter. Arit Anderson hears how the principles of rewilding can increase biodiversity in our own gardens on a trip to the Knepp Estate in West Sussex, and Nick Bailey meets a man whose potting bench is more like a laboratory bench where he grows hardy orchids from seed.
There's a gardener in Worcestershire who has amassed an astonishing collection of cacti and succulents, and a couple of friends in London share their passion for growing cut flowers. There's also a chance to see what viewers have been getting up to in their gardens.

Episode 3
Adam Frost demonstrates how to build a rose arch, mulches his beds and plants a blackcurrant to train up a fence.
Frances Tophill visits RHS Wisley in Surrey to witness the seasonal colour that heathers can provide in the winter months. Carol Klein immerses herself in a sea of roses at Hanham Court Gardens near Bristol, and there's a touch of the Mediterranean in Devon as Toby Buckland harvests a crop of home-grown olives.
There's a catch-up with three sisters from Dorset as they plant up their new borders and a visit to a spectacular display of tulips in Norfolk, as well as a chance to see what viewers have been getting up to in their gardens.

Episode 4
Monty Don gets stuck into some winter jobs and demonstrates how to store dahlia tubers, plants out a clematis and plants up a container for winter colour and scent.
Nick Bailey shows that a conifer is not just for Christmas on a visit to Great Dixter in East Sussex. Rachel de Thame joins gardener and florist Arthur Parkinson as they create some spectacular seasonal table decorations using plant material sourced from the garden. And at Spetchley Park in Worcestershire, Advolly Richmond reveals the intriguing story of influential plantswoman and gardener Ellen Willmott.
Joe Swift visits a garden in Cumbria designed to shine in winter through its inspirational planting that favours structure over colour, and there's a masterclass in growing food for a year-round harvest from a gardener in Ceredigion. There's also a chance to see what viewers have been getting up to in their gardens.
