Season 1
South Africa
Gary starts his journey on the Western Cape of South Africa exploring the vineyards and learning about the variety of grapes, their sustainability, and what food is paired perfectly with each before driving through breathtaking scenery. Joined by friends along the way, Gary also heads further North to embark on a safari experience of a lifetime and enjoys the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg, where he discovers a wine revolution taking place!
Episodes

Episode 1
The Take That star explores the country, searching for the most authentic, accessible and exciting food and drink experiences South Africa has to offer. He begins his adventure by meeting best friend and fellow musician Eliot Kennedy in Franschhoek, heading straight to the Spier Wine Farm for a crash course in the country's most celebrated grape varieties before sampling some classic South African food, cooked on a braai.

Episode 2
Gary and his best friend Eliot Kennedy head to the Babylonstoren Wine Estate where they're put to work by the chief winemaker and the resident gardener. On the famous Franschhoek Wine Tram, Gary is joined by wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan as they get up close and personal with the local seals before meeting a Cape Town jazz legend for a home cooked meal and an exclusive musical performance.

Episode 3
Gary is joined by Ben Shephard as he travels up into the mountains to Iona Wines where they pick grapes, have a lesson on wine aging and are treated to some home cooking. The pair then meet one of the country's youngest wine producers, Maanschijn, in Walker Bay where they get stuck in with some traditional wine making methods before sampling the best the winery has to offer and taking a trip down the Klein River.

Episode 4
The Take That star heads north with Jane McDonald as they touch down in Skukuza in the Kruger National Park. The singers enjoy a safari that includes a local breakfast favourite prepared by the resident head chef. Added to the mix is a local choir, high tea, South African sparkling wine and a magical experience with a family of elephants.

Episode 5
The Take That veteran heads into Johannesburg to meet soul sensation and friend Mica Paris. The pair spend time at Sanctuary Mandela, taking in the history of the great man, hearing live music, and sampling fantastic food, before heading to Soweto for a community braai, an event featuring great wine and entertainment.
