Gavilan - Season 1

Gavilan risks his life for a scientist whose book was inspirational to him. Gavilan frees Sarah, a colleague, from the clutches of guerrillas in Africa. At the institute, Sarah explains that her husband is also imprisoned there. She asks Gavilan to free him as well. Together with a dubious mercenary and Sarah, Gavilan sets to work. Along the way, he must eliminate the mercenary, who was working for the guerrillas and wanted to murder Gavilan. Gavilan falls in love with Sarah, even though he knows she is married. Gavilan and Sarah launch a highly daring rescue mission in Africa...

Gavilan attracts pirates when he salvages gold. Gavilan masterminds an exciting escape when he and a beautiful scientist are kidnapped by modern-day pirates who want the precious gold coins the duo is recovering from a sunken ship off the Virgin Islands.

When Gavilan and a friend are unexpectedly attacked by a Yakuza member, Gavilan finds himself wondering, "Why us?" Soon after, he discovers that his friend, Milo, possesses a valuable sword that the Yakuza are also eager to obtain. This revelation immediately plunges Gavilan and Milo into a new adventure. During a confrontation, Gavilan kills one of the Yakuza members, prompting the organization to vow revenge. In an effort to prevent further violence, Milo offers to return the sword to the Yakuza, but Gavilan refuses and insists on a duel with one of their members. Unfortunately, his opponent turns out to be a heavily built giant.

Gavilan is held captive in Cuba, where he believes his knowledge is crucial to complete a top-secret Cuban-Russian project, but he finds that he is part of an ingenious and dangerous plot, devised by a Russian scientist, to get his beautiful daughter into America via a spectacular escape.

Milo (Patrick Macnee) is kidnapped and held hostage until Gavilan (Robert Urich) recovers $3 million in heroin sunk off the California coast. 

Gavilan (Robert Urich) tries to rescue a friend who's in a Turkish prison awaiting execution for espionage. On this occasion, Gavilan is in Turkey, where, after an extended period, he finally gets a sign of life from a former friend. Shortly after checking into the hotel, a captivating woman presents herself as his "wife," seeking a share of the fortune. It becomes apparent that he was previously abducted and is now being traded for a treasure that Gavilan is tasked with recovering from the ocean. Additionally, certain Turkish criminals are also pursuing the treasure. Utilizing a clever trick, Gavilan successfully overcomes them...
