Глухарь (2008-2011)
The detective series "Capercaillie" can rightfully be called the first television detective that you unconditionally believe, because the life of ordinary law enforcement officers is displayed in it without embellishment.
The main characters are investigator Sergei Glukharev and his friend, district traffic police officer Denis Antoshin — two knights with a lot of reproaches. They are simple people who live the most ordinary life, with its joys and disappointments; they are as far from invulnerable superheroes as they are from general's shoulder straps. They have a stressful job, low salary and unsettled personal life, which, of course, does not add to optimism. But friends do not lose their presence of mind and continue to protect law and order. The society they protect does not always show due respect for their hard work, but Glukharev and Antoshin continue to fulfill their duty, preserving a sense of humor and leaving room for simple human weaknesses…
