Aled Jones goes back to the 1930s to hear the remarkable story of how one woman's father rose above his childhood disabilities but lived an adult life shrouded in secrecy. On her journey, she meets an inspirational family who are facing their own difficulties dealing with a young daughter with a very rare illness. Can she find a way to help them, and can she give something back with an extraordinary gift of generosity?
