Stairway to Sell
Jon and Mary buy a large home that has a living room with cathedral ceilings and a bonus loft space. The outdated property also is riddled with issues, including a cracked foundation, crumbling kitchen and ugly finishes. The duo works extra hard to complete the massive overhaul by adding a stunning modern staircase, sleek modern kitchen and luxurious master bath. Throughout the season, Jon and Mary overcome serious renovation challenges such as faulty plumbing and roof leaks, rework choppy floor plans and even incorporate a New Orleans-inspired design that reflects Mary's Louisiana upbringing.

Hoarder's Paradise

Over Budget and Under Pressure
Jon buys a house in an up-and-coming Houston neighborhood without running it by Mary. Mary loves the exterior but is shocked when she sees the interior. After some setbacks during the extensive renovation, Mary and Jon hope they can save the profit by cutting costs on the design side.

Mirror Mirrors on the Wall
Jon and Mary find a dated house in a desirable, family-friendly neighborhood. Mary plans to work her magic to modernize the design -- but in the middle of the renovation, a mix-up stops all work for days. They hustle to make up for lost time and hope their choices are what buyers want in their next home.

Bringing New Orleans To Houston
Jon and Mary find a house that brings out a New Orleans vibe; the home is in a great location, but it's small and needs plenty of exterior work.

Keeping It Real Estate
Jon and Mary find a project in a charming community, a walking neighborhood with no driveways. They have ideas for the exterior and plan to open up the galley kitchen, but they'll need to reimagine the upstairs layout and add a third bedroom to attract buyers and get the most out of their investment.

You Can Thank Me
Jon gets a great deal on a house at an auction, but it needs a lot of work before it can go on the market. Mary aims for a classic but modern design, with brand new flooring and bold fixtures. But when an unexpected water leak affects the new flooring and paint, it threatens the entire project.
