Golf: Women's British Open - Season 2 / Year 2008

Season 2 / Year 2008
Episodes

Day 1
Coverage of the opening round of the Women's British Open at Sunningdale.
Defending champion and world number one Lorena Ochoa looks to defend the title she won at St Andrews 12 months ago. She won her first major in convincing fashion, leading from start to finish and ending four shots clear of her nearest rivals.
However, the Mexican faces stiff competition from a strong field at Sunningdale, including world number two Annika Sorenstam.

Day 2
Coverage of the Women's British Open, the only one of the women's majors to take place outside the USA.
The home crowd at Sunningdale will be hoping to see British representation at the top of the leader board. England's Karen Stupples was the last home-grown winner in 2004, while Scottish stars Catriona Matthew and Mhairi McKay can also expect plenty of support.
Other names to watch out for are South Korea's Inbee Park and Taiwan's Yani Tseng, who won the first two majors of 2008.

Day 3
Andrew Cotter presents coverage of the third round of the Women's British Open on the famous Old Course at Sunningdale, Berkshire.
World number one Lorena Ochoa led from start to finish at last year's tournament, and the wind-battered third day was where the Mexican began to pull away from the field, turning a one-shot lead into a six-stroke cushion going into the final round.
With commentary from Peter Alliss, Ken Brown and Maureen Madill.

Final Round
Andrew Cotter introduces coverage from the final round of the Women's British Open at Sunningdale. Lorena Ochoa celebrated her first major success at last year's tournament at St Andrews and the Mexican has gone from strength to strength since then, adding the Kraft Nabisco Championship to her major collection earlier this year.
But she will face competition from the likes of 2003 British Open champion Annika Sorenstam, who will be hoping to add some more silverware to her already laden trophy cabinet in what is her final season on the women's professional tour.
