Episode 1
Seo Dong-jae, an attorney with a troubled past, is frustrated after missing a promotion. Assigned to a case involving Lee Kyung-hak, he uncovers a conspiracy involving a powerful CEO, and suspects Kyung-hak's innocence.

Episode 2
Dong-jae negotiates with serial killer Lee Kyung-hak. A disturbance leads to Kyung-hak's arrest and Dong-jae's hospitalization. Nam Wan-sung visits Kyung-hak in prison. Dong-jae meets someone from his past.

Episode 3
Six months ago, Nam Wan-sung ordered a witness's disappearance, leading to a case dismissal tied into the present day. Police suspect Dong-jae in an attack at a bar. A plan to catch a drug lord is revealed. Dong-jae faces scrutiny. Yoo-ri is shot.

Episode 4
After Yoo-ri's death, Gyeo-re is arrested and linked to drugs. Nam Wan-sung asks Mi-ran to handle the case, but she appoints Dong-jae instead. Wan-sung begs Dong-jae to clear Gyeo-re, but he refuses. Dong-jae uses CCTV footage to reveal stolen drugs.

Episode 5
The origin of the drugs is revealed. Dong-jae suspects Chan-hyeok or Gyeo-re in Yoo-ri's death. Dong-jae requests an arrest warrant for Chan-hyeok. Geum-ho escapes, with dire consequences. Wan-sung traps Chan-hyeok. Dong-jae discovers a dead body.

Episode 6
A forensics team believes Mr. Kang's assailant was injured. Dong-jae suspects the bowling alley owner. Nam Wan-sung captures Chan-hyeok. Dong-jae requests a search warrant for the bowling alley, uncovering a scam. Gyeo-re is released.

Episode 7
Byung-gun finds Kang's car near a seaport. Dong-jae arrests a drug maker. Yoo-ri and Mr. Kang's killers are identified. Dong-jae's success is short-lived, and he's suspended. Dong-jae and Ji-hee investigate a missing worker.

Episode 8
Dong-jae hatches a plan to catch Nam Wan-sung. Wan-sung plans to expose Dong-jae's past bribes, but Dong-jae posts an apology online first. The team decides to track Wan-sung to find a body. Wan-sung is questioned, and Chan-hyeok confesses.

Episode 9
Nam Gyeo-re's court proceedings begin. Dong-jae poses as a construction worker, suspecting the site is hiding the buried bodies. Dong-jae and Byung-gun go on a stakeout, while Ji-hee camps outside Wan-sung's house. Wan-sung is arrested.

Episode 10
Nam Wan-sung pleads not guilty, but a recording exposes him and his slush fund. Dong-jae joins a new team to root out corruption. Mi-ran is suspended, Ji-hee takes on her role, and Gyeo-re admits his crimes. Wan-sung is imprisoned with Kyeong-hak.
