The Pitch
In Food Stars Australia premiere tonight, a group of the best food and drink entrepreneurs in Australia will pitch to culinary superstar and business mogul Janine Allis in the hope of fulfilling their dreams and securing a place on their team. With 2 x $250,000 investments at stake, plus a 12 month long mentorship offered by both Janine and Gordon, the contestants will need to impress. With only 7 spots each on their team Gordon and Janine will be looking for ambitious go-getters with true entrepreneurial spirit in the race to find their Australian Food Star.

Chiko Roll
Gordon and Janine challenge 14 food and drink entrepreneurs to develop and create a new twist on the classic Chiko Roll.

Nick Kyrgios: Alive
Gordon Ramsay and Janine Allis' teams are tasked with hosting networking experiences with Australia's most influential hospitality buyers to increase stockists of tennis superstar Nick Kyrgios' soft drink brand ALIVE.

Ultimate Foodie
Gordon and Janine challenge the entrepreneurs to execute an immersive, fine dining experience with the help of award-winning guest chefs Matt Moran and Scott Pickett.

Cadbury Chocolate / Meal Kit
Gordon and Janine challenge their teams to create and execute an interactive publicity stunt for Cadbury's new chocolate range. Plus, the entrepreneurs are tasked with the creation of a unique, easy to follow meal-kit, with Gordon and Janine stepping into the kitchen to put their teams' products to the test.

Vegemite to Americans
Gordon and Janine challenge their teams to find a new use for Australia's beloved Vegemite that will appeal to the American market

The Investors Challenge
In the semi-final, Gordon and Janine put their own brands on the line as the entrepreneurs develop and pitch original concepts for Boost Juice and Vibrante Bianco wine.

Finale
In the season finale, the two remaining entrepreneurs from each team have 24 hours to re-work their original business pitches, working with experts and the added experience and knowledge they have learnt across the series, and present them to a live audience. Who will be crowned Gordon Ramsay and Janine Allis' Food Stars?

The Pitt
