У каждого дела, как известно, есть два исхода: можно выиграть – можно проиграть. Казалось бы, это совершенно разные вещи, но у них есть очень много общего. И тот и другой исход требуют постоянных утомительных действий: для успеха надо всё время стараться, трудиться и напрягаться, а до провала надо допрыгаться, доскакаться и докатиться. Пока вы дожидались успеха или провала в одном деле, вы пропустили кучу других дел, в которых можно было бы гораздо быстрее добиться успеха, не говоря уже о провале. И в том и в другом случае вы по ходу нервничали, худели, бледнели, снимали деньги в банке, снимали стресс в баньке, клялись, что всё это вам и на фиг не нужно, а также клялись отбить руки каждому, кто хочет это у вас отнять. Враги боялись, что вы победите, друзья боялись, что проиграете – значит, и тех и других вы одинаково сильно напугали. Короче, победа и поражение отнимут у вас одинаковый кусок жизни. Почему же люди так стремятся выиграть? А просто потому, что довести дело до победного конца – это всё-таки чертовски здорово! Или хотя бы, как в нашей новой программе, довести «Городок до победного начала».
