Charlie Quick, known as 'Grandad', is the caretaker of the Parkview Rehearsal Hall. During the rehearsal of a television show he decides to help young Brian Plumber with his dancing career. The help gets out of hand and causes chaos!

Episode 2
Grandad's cooking causes worse than indigestion - it's capable of wiping out Mr Digby Rigby's entire cast! The only solution is a food dispenser in the Rehearsal Hall, so Grandad determines to get one.

Episode 3
Grandad's umbrella becomes the target of two notorious thieves. It contains a necklace worth £10,000.

Episode 4
Grandad can't stand two people in this world and Amelia Wilcox , the famous actress, is both 01 them! When she comes to the Parkview Rehearsal Hall, Digby Rigby tells Grandad to behave himself - or else!

Episode 5
Grandad is told to retire as caretaker of the Rehearsal Hall because of his age. To prove he's still as fit as a fiddle, he embarks on a course of physical exercises -but then he has to resort to other measures.
