Great British Home Restoration - Season 2

Season 2
Episodes

Episode 1
Teacher Yazz and landscape gardener Mark have sold up in London and moved back to Devon to restore a large but run-down farmhouse while living in a static caravan or the duration of the build. But their plans go awry when they find out that their farmhouse isn't 200 years old but actually much older, and, consequently, they find themselves owning a listed building with many stipulations.

Episode 2
The programme follows Alice and Daniel as they renovate a former Christian gospel hall in Devon, only to realise they will have to come up with some ingenious and money-saving ideas to pay homage to the building's art deco past. In order to boost their finances to help fund the restoration, they also take on a job for a local publican, transforming a Grade II listed, 15th-century inn into a luxury holiday home.

Episode 3
Architect Anthony and paediatric nurse Sarah are looking to move to the countryside with their growing family and they've got their sights set on a derelict, but structurally sound, former threshing barn in Herefordshire. The barn was once part of a very esteemed estate, owned by the Duchy of Cornwall - King Charles no less.

Episode 4
Charlie Luxton meets a couple who have bought a 174-year-old Methodist chapel, but have no experience with historic renovations or relevant skills to deal with a chapel of this age.

Episode 5
Architects Marc and his Spanish wife Paula set out to transform a former Victorian carpenter's workshop in Ramsgate, Kent into a pied-à-terre. With a budget of £70,000 Marc aims to turn this small structure into a stylish one-bedroom flat.
