The First Day
With Calvary's imminent demolition, Lady Mae and Bishop seek a sign from God. Jacob digs into the family mansion's past. Grace learns the real reason why Bob Whitmore is so invested in keeping the Calvary congregation under his wing.

The Second Day
Noah returns to help Grace with A.J., offering her stability. Bishop and Lady Mae walk through their history when they visit Mavis's club as a potential venue. Jacob uncovers a shocking revelation about the history of the Greenleaf family home.

The Third Day
Grace is torn between pursuing Bob Whitmore's past and her family; Lady Mae and Bishop face challenges to their seedling dream of a new church; Jacob makes a discovery about the mansion's history.

The Fourth Day
Grace pushes forward in her investigation into Bob Whitmore's former company, Edenvale Lending, discovering a key informant who could unlock the answers.
At the church, preparations for the last Sunday at Calvary get contentious when Charity stands her ground against Phil and Judee, but Charity's desire to honor the church's past may threaten her future within it. Meanwhile, Bishop decides to take the issue of the house into his own hands.

The Fifth Day
In lieu of attending the last Sunday at Calvary, the Greenleaf family gathers together for a small service at home. The shadow of loss looms large as they attempt to imagine their imminent futures and what it might mean for them to start over again. Grace feels incapable of surmounting the obstacles her family faces, until Noah provides an intriguing insight into the house's history. Lady Mae goes to see Tara James and returns with a startling revelation.

The Sixth Day
Bishop reels from the return of an old enemy, pushing Lady Mae to unveil a family secret; Charity makes Phil face his past, while Grace and Darius learn the shocking truth about Bob Whitmore and Edenvale Lending.

The Seventh Day
It's the Greenleafs versus Harmony and Hope, and neither will go down without a fight; Grace fights to stop the demolition; Lady Mae tries to negotiate for the mansion, but a reveal about the original owner prompts Bishop to a revelation of his own.

The series is named after Dan Simmons's 2007 novel, which serves as the basis for the first season and is a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin's lost expedition to the Arctic in 1845–1848.
The second season, subtitled Infamy, bears no relation to the book or first season and is mostly set in an American-run Japanese internment camp during World War II.
