Sofía survives an unexpected attack thanks to Franco, who was only looking for a job. Moved by his act of heroism, she asks him to stay by her side as her protector.

Franco has no choice but to accept Sofía's job offer, but no one in the Peralta family approves of a farmworker protecting the head of the family. They underestimate his willingness to risk his life for his new boss.

Franco saves Sofía at the cost of risking his own life. When Aramís and Gonzalo find out, they confront her for trusting someone they consider incompetent, but Sofía defends him, reminding them that he has already saved her life twice.

After saying goodbye, Franco and Sofía begin to realize that they cannot stop thinking about each other, and that it will be impossible to pretend that nothing happened between them.
