As the snow melts and the seasons turn, the creatures of the forest are on the move. And when a raven flies in from the sea, it must have been released from the king's ship, mustn't it? Thrilled at the prospect of seeing her father, Gudrun races through the woods and comes face to face with a wolf!
The Otter
While King Sigurd dozes on the beach, Gudrun tries to play a trick on him. But every time she gets close, he opens his eyes. How did he know she was there? It's only when watching an otter sniff the breeze that Gudrun realises the smell of smoke from the longhouse fire has lingered on her cloak
The Fjord Pony
Playing in a clearing in the forest, Gudrun wheels around a tree trunk, startling a wild pony. It bolts into the thicket but it's not long before they run into each other again, only this time cornered in a hollow on the hill. Luckily help is at hand and the Viking Princess learns how to approach a wild pony.
The Raven
When a raven gets trapped in a basket, Gudrun comes to the rescue. But can she trust the raven to help her when she loses her precious circlet made of Viking silver?
The Shore Crab
Gudrun and her friend Olaf find a crab and decide to build him a sandcastle. They don't realise how difficult it is for him to hide where there's no water. The moment they turn their backs, he is spotted by a keen-eyed, hungry gull. Gudrun and Olaf to the rescue!
The Goat
Gudrun is learning to tie knots when King Sigurd asks her to tether a young goat. Disaster strikes when the goat escapes. Gudrun searches high and low, but where would a little billy goat have run to and why?
Seals
The wild adventures of Gudrun the Viking Princess. Gudrun is furious when her father and Olaf the Boat Boy scare away the seals. She is baffled, when to make it up to her, King Sigurd breaks into song! But what happens next is even more astonishing.
The Reindeer
The wild adventures of Gudrun the Viking Princess. While gathering firewood Gudrun and Olaf find a lost reindeer. Leading him back to the herd they find their route dangerously waterlogged. Now it's the reindeer who takes the lead, guiding the young Vikings back to firm ground
Red Squirrels
The wild adventures of Gudrun the Viking Princess. The autumn chill is turning the forest gold when King Sigurd takes Gudrun to gather nuts for a feast. But after Gudrun falls asleep beside a tree she awakes to find her basket empty. She's not the only one gathering nuts for the winter!
The Gyrfalcon
The wild adventures of Gudrun the Viking Princess. Lord of all the birds of the North is the gyrfalcon. Flashing white across the snowy mountains it's a bird that everyone respects. Learning to fly one is reserved for high-born Vikings only. Today Gudrun gets her first lesson from Sigurd and the Master of Falcons.
