Cyril, le frère du professeur Strauss, n'a pas d'endroit où passer la nuit. Ni une ni deux : il débarque à l'hôpital et, comme s'il s'agissait d'un hôtel, prend une chambre pour s'y installer. Son attitude à l'égard de son frère choque particulièrement le personnel ; Cyril ne rate pas une occasion de se comporter en mufle, insultant copieusement le professeur. Mais celui-ci n'en semble pas affecté, au contraire, il estime que son frère est tout à fait génial. Sabri met Jamel au défi de ne pas dire un seul mensonge durant vingt-quatre heures, ce qui n'est pas une mince affaire pour lui. Clara, quant à elle, n'assume décidément pas son âge et plonge dans une profonde déprime...
