Melodrama set in two periods, the present and the first decades of the 20th century, centered on the history of a powerful family in Barcelona. In the house of the Lax a pact of silence was imposed for a long time: Amadeo demanded that no member of his family ever remember the name or destiny of the wife who abandoned him just at the time of the Civil War.
