After the stressful encounter with the comatose artist Bruno Mannheimer, the father of Jannik and Sam, the brothers rebuild his light and sound installation.

Finja's father Peter is attacked by a ghostly apparition, which he hides from his daughter. Meanwhile, Ruben and Romy find themselves in danger at Poppenberg.

When they meet, Christian gives Finja a crucial clue as to how the Pied Piper can be stopped. The adults of Hamelin play an important role in this.
