Season 1

Episodes

Episode 1
Stockholm, present day. When detective Roland Hassel's father figure, chief and mentor, Yngve Ruda, is brutally murdered, Hassel decides to conduct his own, under-the-radar investigation to ensure justice is done. Turning to his closest allies within the "Triton" police unit, Hassel prepares his revenge.

Episode 2
Hassel's obsession with Ruda's murder starts to take its toll on his personal life, especially his girlfriend, Daniela and her fourteen-year-old daughter, Vida. As he struggles to hold his family together, a trail of evidence about Ruda's killer leads Hassel to police informant Petri Mikkola. Meanwhile, Fatima Nidal from Internal Investigations becomes increasingly interested in Hassel's actions.

Episode 3
As Hassel's investigation starts to spiral out of control, the certainties of yesterday are the doubts of today. Can he really trust those closest to him? Out of despair, Hassel resigns himself to seeking help from Leon Forsberg, a convicted criminal serving his time in prison - and Vida's biological father.

Episode 4
Hassel and his team get a tip off about a notorious career criminal called "Bosco" who might have played a key role in Ruda's assassination... Hassel's personal life is also on the edge as Daniela discovers that he made contact with Forsberg, driving their relationship to the point of no return.

Episode 5
Things start to move again in the criminal world of Stockholm as Bosco is back in Sweden and his ex-girlfriend - Andra Lovrén - seems to play a much bigger role in Hassel's investigation than it appears at first glance. Meanwhile, Hassel is not in Nidal's good books and she secretly pays a visit to Daniela at work...

Episode 6
Nidal has gathered enough evidence to issue a warrant for Hassel's arrest and bring in the members of "Triton" for questioning - but someone is determined to throw a spanner in the works. As Forsberg is released from prison, Daniela agrees to meet up with him...

Episode 7
After years of sobriety, one of Hassel's team members - Johannes Frank - relapses which puts everyone at "Triton" in danger. In order to make progress in his investigation, Hassel has no other choice but to go through Forsberg to reach to Bosco... Meanwhile, Daniela is threatened by Forsberg and turns to Nidal for help.

Episode 8
While Bosco is put under great pressure to obstruct the investigation of Ruda's murder, it becomes clear than there is a mole within "Triton" leaking information. Soon, Hassel and Nidal realize that they will have to team up to solve the case as evidence is now leading them to the high levels of government. Hassel receives a call: Vida has been kidnapped.

Episode 9
As Hassel and his teammate Thomas Meyer head to Brussels to get Vida back at all cost, they find themselves in the midst of political corruption and international interests. What was Ruda's relationship with Sweden's Foreign Minister Hans Rhenström and what does it have to do with his murder?

Episode 10
Left with no other choice in order to save Vida and bring her home safely, Hassel and his team are prepared to cross the line and resort to kidnapping Sweden's Foreign Minister. They are determined to uncover the truth and get to the bottom of this sordid affair.
