Asumi notices an odd change in Nodoka who begins running and eating more, and after discussing it with the Healing Animals they come to the conclusion that Nodoka is stressed after the revelations of her illness and is finding ways to relieve it. But Asumi and the Animals feel she is overdoing it so they decide to find a different way for her to relieve her stress. Meanwhile, Nodoka meets a classmate named Kotoe Kanemori, who is a member of the school band. It is revealed Kotoe was home recovering from a cold but has returned to school; however she appears to be overdoing her trumpet practice in an effort to catch up with everyone else. This causes her to be scolded by the band leader Yuto Sugawara, who tells her not to rush and that the success of the band does not solely lie on Kotoe's shoulders. After school, Nodoka, Chiyu and Hinata meet up with Asumi and the Animals, who reveal what they've been doing, causing Nodoka to become a little defensive. Suddenly, Guaiwaru appears and creates a MegaByogen and powers it up with multiple Mega Parts in an effort to strengthen it much further. The girls transform to fight it, but Cure Grace becomes too reckless and almost gets crushed by the monster before being saved by Cure Earth. Earth gets Grace to admit she felt responsible for being involved in Daruizen's creation, which is why she has been trying to get stronger. However, Earth reassures her it isn't her fault and that she can rely on the others for support. The girls manage to defeat and purify the MegaByogen, after which the purified Sound Spirit gives Asumi a new elemental bottle to heal Rate.
