The 2016 Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl is airing live today from the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The Army Black Knights (7-5) are going up against the North Texas Mean Green (5-7*).
*The NCAA rule requires a team to have a minimum of 6 wins to play in any Bowl game however since there were not enough bowl-eligible teams at the end of the regular season, 5–7 Mississippi Statewas given a spot in this bowl because of its high Academic Progress Rate.
