A raging wildfire threatens the ranch forcing the Heartland family to evacuate. But when a pregnant mare is trapped in the fire's path, Amy risks everything to try and save her.

As Amy and Ashley search the forest for the downed plane, Caleb and Nathan fight to survive the wilderness – and each other. Jack and Lisa organize an old-fashioned haying.

Amy's working with an Olympian's horse when Spartan's health suddenly declines. After Amy's high-profile client questions Amy's integrity, rumours threaten her reputation as a horse trainer.

The whole family heads to the Hudson Rodeo where Amy puts everything on the line to save her reputation. Katie proves herself at her first big Hudson Wilds Flag Team performance.

When Amy helps an old friend of Nathan's overcome his fear of riding a horse for his wedding day, she's caught wondering what the future holds for her. Meanwhile Dex must prove himself to Jack.

When Jack's called away to help a friend, Lou takes the lead on a cattle drive, but things don't go as planned. As Lisa reunites with her sister Tammy, Amy's feeling disconnected from Nathan.
 

While Amy secretly works with Gracie's new horse, Lou and Jack are determined to catch the rustlers and Dex confronts his past, and Georgie returns to Heartland.

Georgie comes to terms with Phoenix's new reality, and the identity of the rustlers is revealed. Amy and the rest of the Heartland family are left with difficult decisions to make about their futures.
