Two friends who have recently realized that they're in love bring brave faces to the unique struggle they face, as one battles a progressive illness and the other must head back to his home country. A woman grapples to accept the changes in her body as a result of her battle with breast cancer while her father comes to celebrate the end of her treatments. A survivor of Hurricane Katrina reflects on the strangers who generously helped him in his time of need, becoming like family to him and restoring his faith in humanity.
