Eyvind Hellstrøm blir for en gangs skyld tatt på senga når han besøker Stord og den flotte restauranten Fengselet mat- og vinkjellar. Etter å ha smakt maten, sett lokalene og snakket med de ansatte kan han rett og slett ikke forstå hvorfor lokalbefolkningen uteblir. Det meste virker å være på stell, og Hellstrøm kan for en gangs skyld kose seg med maten på et av stedene han besøker. For å finne løsningen må han først finne problemet, og da ser han seg nødt til å trekke inn lokal ekspertise. I kveldens episode får Hellstrøm nemlig hjelp av Hordalending og kokkeverdensmester Geir Skeie.
