HER - Season 1

Season 1
Liu Yan, a "genius teenage boxer", sees her hard-earned career go up in smoke for refusing to throw a match. To make matters worse, she receives news of the death of her mother, who abandoned her years ago. Traveling abroad to handle her mother's affairs, Liu Yan is left with massive debts and custody of her younger brother. With her mother's fate uncertain, Liu Yan decides to stay and search for her. In this foreign land, she meets new friends: her landlord and confidante Tang Shuangshuang, legal counsellor Lu Tianchi, her half-brother Li Zan, and He Guangyuan, heir to Gaodi Restaurant. Starting out as a kitchen hand, Liu Yan works her way up to become a rising star in the restaurant industry. Just as she begins to find her footing, her mother's unexpected return throws her life into turmoil once again... Through all the ups and downs in a foreign country, Liu Yan ultimately takes control of her own destiny and forges a path to survival on her own terms.
