Het geslacht De Pauw

Het geslacht De Pauw (2004-2005)

EndedScripted showComedy

Het geslacht De Pauw follows Bart De Pauw and his family in their daily activities. To create the illusion that it is a real reality soap, the characters have the same first name as the actors they play. Reference is also made regularly to the real world of the actors. Bart De Pauw, for example, refers to programs he used to make and references are made to Aspe, the police series in which the actress who plays Maaike (the wife of Bart De Pauw in the series) also plays a role. However, as the series progresses, and certainly in the second season, the situations in which the De Pauw family ends up become more and more insane and unbelievable.
