Episode 1
When a killer vanishes into the high-country wilderness, newly arrived Sergeant Andie Whitford must navigate challenging terrain and some hostile locals with the help of Sam Dyson.

Episode 2
Andie's wife, Helen, and daughter, Kirra, forge new friendships amongst the locals, while Andie brings local 'psychic' and suspect, Damien, in as a 'consultant' on the investigation of two missing people.

Episode 3
After Rose's harrowing ordeal in the bush, Andie investigates another suspect in the disappearances, an ex-army hermit Ghillie Jack.

Episode 4
On the anniversary of a local boy's murder, Sam Dyson pledges to bring his prime suspect, Damien, to justice. Andie warns against any harassment, but Sam can't help himself, forcing Andie to take action.

Episode 5
While searching for evidence in the wilderness, Andie spends the night alone, assailed by a flash storm and terrifying, monstrous growling from the surrounding bush. Rescue is at hand but from a very unexpected party.

Episode 6
The discovery of a drug crop leads Andie to suspect the missing couple were murdered after stumbling upon it. Closer to home, Andie's wife gets high, and her daughter goes joyriding with her boyfriend.

Episode 7
Andie visits her elderly mother who makes a shocking confession, linking Andie to the criminal conspiracy she has been investigating.

Episode 8
Andie identifies the mastermind behind the murders and vanishings that have rocked the high country, only to realise Helen and Kirra are now in danger.
