Terror in the Sky
In June 1985, TWA flight 847 made a routine stop-off in Athens, Greece. Its destination was Rome, but that changed after armed Lebanese militia boarded the plane. Against the backdrop of the Middle East conflict, the terrorists had one objective in mind - the release of hundreds of Islamic prisoners detained in Israel. Seizing the US airliner shortly after take-off, the passengers and crew - including singer Demis Roussos - endured a three-day ordeal involving a stream of landings across various airports. This documentary recalls their experiences.

Nightmare in the Desert
The story of the simultaneous hijacking of five passenger jets by a Palestinian militant group in 1970. When an attempt to take over a plane that had just left Amsterdam was foiled, the group responded by seizing control of three more aircraft and diverting them to the Jordanian desert, while a fourth was blown up on the runway at Cairo. Featuring contributions from pilots and cabin crew.

London Under Siege
This is the story of the most significant hostage situations in the UK; an event that brought the SAS into the international spotlight. After days of tense negotiation and incredible surveillance, the SAS storm the building and save almost all of the hostages.
