Épisode 1
It's summer. By decision of the health authorities, and to allow healthcare workers to rest, many hospital departments have been closed. The remaining ones are overwhelmed... The tension with the population is palpable. During a SOS Médecins intervention, Alyson is aggressively confronted by the family of a patient who has been waiting for an ambulance for six hours. She calls Hugo for help.

Épisode 2
Following Alyson's assault, SOS Médecins went on strike, leaving a large portion of the population without access to medical care. Patients are arriving in droves at the emergency room. Brun, Arben, and Chloé try to cope, with help from Alyson and Hugo. Despite Chloé and Arben's repeated requests, Brun opposes the opening of additional beds. To avoid leaving patients without care, Chloé and Arben decide to proceed without his approval.

Épisode 3
Brun decides to reopen the SMUR, however, the system quickly shows its limits and patients find themselves without a solution. Chloé, Arben, Hugo and Alyson begin to welcome them in the clandestine hospital, the California hospital.

Épisode 4
Arben finds himself locked in the "California hospital", without means of communication. He waits for Chloé, Hugo and Alyson to take over. But they do not arrive.

Épisode 5
Arben, Alyson, Hugo and David realize that the clandestine service is not viable. For Chloé, it is the only solution. She remains determined to maintain the "California".

Épisode 6
Brun discovers with amazement the existence of the "California hospital" set up by Chloé, Arben, Hugo and Alyson; he orders them to reintegrate the clandestine patients into the real hospital.
