Su Man, a seemingly happy housewife, accidentally discovers her husband Deng Wenliang's secret affair while he is taking a shower. Su Man endures the betrayal and humiliation and begins a spy-like journey to catch the mistress in order to defend her marriage. When the truth comes to light, a dramatic reversal shines into her life. The husband, together with his daughter's piano teacher Ye Xing, fabricate evidence of her infidelity and kick her out. In order to regain custody of her daughter, Su Man puts aside her broken heart and joins forces with his mistress to retaliate against her ex-husband, saying goodbye to her marriage and restarting her life with difficulties. Unexpectedly, the youth Ye Xing, who had once framed her and wants to make up for his guilt, comes back into her life again, giving her the feeling of a long-lost love. Just as Su Man is struggling to decide between love and her daughter, another conspiracy is exposed. The seemingly innocent Ye Xing and the mistress Yang Kexin have actually been conspiring to empty her ex-husband's assets, and their broken marriage is part of their plan.
