History Crush
We all have a History Crush. Lord Byron was a stone-cold smash. Cleopatra was one of history's most famous hotties. But, have we ever really stopped to consider if our history crushes are suitable? Defendable even? Well, panic over because love-hungry historian Katie Kennedy has assembled a team of experts to answer the big questions we've all been too afraid to ask.
In each episode of History Crush, Katie, otherwise known as The History Gossip, and an expert historian rummage through the drawers of some of the titans of history, sniffing out the stuff that wouldn't make their dating profile before passing judgement on whether they're a crush or a burn. In this series Lord Byron, Charles II, Cleopatra, Elizabeth I, Marie Antoinette, Napoleon, Charles Dickens and Henry VIII are all reviewed to see if, despite some questionable life choices, it's still ok to crush on them. This may be a bit spicier than your average history show.
