HMS Ark Royal embarks on a five month mission to lead an international task force across the Atlantic, in the largest-ever peacetime naval deployment for a decade.

Days into her international deployment, the Prime Minister orders HMS Ark Royal to rescue stranded British passengers caught in the chaos caused by the Icelandic volcanic eruption.

Episode 3
On route to Naval Station, Norfolk in Virginia - the largest naval base on earth - HMS Ark Royal needs to refuel, and so calls in the help of a naval tanker almost as big as she is.

Episode 4
HMS Ark Royal has been at sea for four weeks. The crew has some down time in the Florida sunshine, but for some, shore leave is cancelled as they prepare for a royal visitor.

Episode 5
HMS Ark Royal is bound for Nova Scotia with a busy schedule, including a visit from PM, David Cameron. But when the ship hits dense fog, the crew must assist an emergency first.

Episode 6
HMS Ark Royal's crew are preparing for the International Fleet Review, an important element of the Royal Canadian Navy's centenary celebrations, with HM The Queen taking the salute.

Episode 7
HMS Ark Royal is taking part in large-scale war games with the US Navy. Her mission is to project air power and oversee the landing of Royal Marines into the designated warzone.

Episode 8
After nearly five months since she departed on the Auriga deployment, HMS Ark Royal is welcomed back home into Portsmouth, but not before a full-scale battle damage exercise.
