Хмуров (2013)

EndedScripted showCrime

When employees of the Investigative Committee at the District Prosecutor's Office reach a dead end, they are forced to turn for help to Khmurov, the former head of the general criminal department of the Investigative Committee, "exiled" to the archives to sort out papers. The current leadership of the department really doesn't want to bow to Khmurov, but there is nowhere to go: Khmurov is an investigator from God. Most of the cases that Khmurov is involved in investigating are so-called "deferred crimes," when it is necessary not only to solve a crime that has already been committed, but to prevent the criminal's next step. When there is a threat of another tragedy, and the counter is ticking inexorably...
Using his unique memory and analytical talent, he manages to solve cases that anyone else would inevitably turn into a dead end. There is one more feature of Khmurov's method: while studying the evidence, listening to the testimony of witnesses, he absentmindedly sketches everything that comes to his mind, often making cartoon portraits of victims and suspects. Then he studies his drawings, explores his own associations, which lead him to one of the many crimes known to him...
