Hollywood's Talking
Hollywood's Talking is a revival of Everybody's Talking. The problem with Everybody's Talking is a switch to all Celebrities on screen which would send prizes to the audience. When they tried it again, they changed it to Hollywood's Talking, this time containing filmed footage of Celebrities with the contestants answering the questions. Problems happened with this version also. Geoff Edwards and Jack Barry did not get along with each other. Despite Geoff's voice sounding no different from Jack Barry's, Geoff Edwards was ridiculed for it. He informed Jack Barry his intention to resign after the 65 episode contract and demanded no further confrontations from Jack Barry. The final problem was being cancelled as a result of Match Game. This version of Match Game, the Drunk Panellists version, is most likely what you are familiar with. Jack Barry and Dan Enright revived Talking as The Hollywood Connection including a panel of six in response to Hollywood's Talking being cancelled by Match Game. Jim Lange hosted it; Edwards returned as host of Play The Percentages so long as Jack Barry was not in the studio. Both Hollywood's Talking and The Hollywood Connection's theme is a variation of Virgo by Robert Ascot.
