Double Addition Drama
In the premiere episode, Mike, Michael and Sherry will meet a couple whose contractor abandoned their 1870s farmhouse mudroom addition. They'll address hazardous issues from the previous work, such as improper footings, suspicious electrical installation and water drainage concerns, to give the family a safe and functional space that features custom built-in storage, an island with a craft zone for the kids and a powder bath. Mike and his kids also will hear another couple's renovation woes after numerous contractors left their large renovation project unfinished and unsafe. To deliver the client's dream kitchen and laundry room, the Holmes family will right all the wrongs, including adding proper waterproofing, updating dangerous wiring and eradicating asbestos.
