Tom finds out that Connor is his new boss, which threatens to ruin Marina's perfectly planned trip to the Happiest Place on Earth - Disneyland Resort in California.  .

Tom begins publicity for his new book; Marina takes on the redesign of Gretchen's room, which causes a lot of stress at home and in the bedroom; Sarah, Denise and the kids have to crash at Connor's house when their apartment floods.

Tom and Marina's lives in and out of the bedroom become a topic for discussion. Connor's patience as host is running thin so as a thank you, Sarah and Denise strategize a creative way to show their appreciation.

With the press tour for Tom's book in full swing, Connor and Marina accompany him to promote his book in New York on one of Americas top daytime talk shows. Meanwhile, Sarah and Denise get a little too comfortable living at Connor's house, which sends the wrong message to Shamiah.  .

It's Halloween and everyone is on edge! Especially Tom who fears nobody will attend his in-person book reading - except for his No. 1 fan that is. Though the family presumes her to be a stalker, the mysterious woman turns out to be something even more shocking.  .

After the shocking discovery of a new-half sibling, Tom, Sarah and Connor are tasked with breaking the unexpected news to their parents. Meanwhile, Marina and Denise team up to confront Denise's stubborn landlord.

It's Thanksgiving at the Hayworths, though this year feels a bit different with one extra chair at the table. While Tom, Sarah and Connor wrestle with their conflicting emotions, Marina and Denise see this new addition to the family as a potential chance to gain a new "normal." 

The success of Tom's book sparks a change in the financial tides; and, with the extra cash in hand, Marina encourages him to spend some money on himself. Meanwhile, Denise's parents shake things up during their visit to town. With their reveal of some surprising news, an unexpected Hayworth comes to her rescue. 

The most wonderful time of the year brings some unforeseen financial troubles for one member of the Hayworth family. With the help of the entire brood and some holiday magic, the Hayworths are reminded that there's nothing better than being home for the holidays. 

After Marina begins working with a hunky new contractor, Tom's envy causes him to overcompensate. Meanwhile, Connor involves Denise in his scheme to impress a new woman.  .

Marina's confession about her sensual Santiago dreams opens the door to new levels of transparency between her and Tom. Meanwhile, Connor takes things to the next level romantically, and Denise gets a special gift for Kelvin.

A natural disaster strikes, trapping the family under one roof and without power. As their electronic battery lives are depleted, the Hayworths are left with nothing to do but examine their own lives on the season three finale.
