Tim criticizes Jill when she scratches her car, then has a major mishap with her car involving a crane on a Tool Time shoot site.

After Harry has a heart attack at the hardware store while Tim is there, Tim starts having problems.

Mark is being inattentive at school and is not talking to Tim and Jill about what is causing the problems at school.

Tim's brother pays a visit to Tim and reveals that he is thinking about leaving his wife and kids.

Tim is unable to invest in Harry's Hardware which opens the window for Al to invest and start making changes.

Jill's speech is accidentally caught on video tape and so is Tim's negative review.

Randy starts seeing Brad as his dad's favorite when Brad makes an appearance on 'Tool Time' when Al can't make a program.

Wilson invites the Taylor family over for Thanksgiving dinner and breaks the news to them that he is thinking about moving to Ecuador where he met his deceased wife.

Tim is reunited with his old high school shop teacher and invites him to a guest appearance on 'Tool Time'. Tim then pushes him and his teacher gets mad at Tim during the show.

Jill accidentally leaves Tim's hot rod out in a blizzard when she moves it out of the garage to do some painting. She then blames Tim for her leaving the car outside.

When Jill's parents arrive, bickering as they come in the door, Jill tries to help them and ends up causing a big fight dragging a unwilling Tim into it in the process.

Brad takes on a paper route, then delivers the news that it is more than he can handle.

Tim sells the hot rod that Brad has been helping him work on for years; Randy endures shopping with his mother. Jay Leno has a cameo as a mechanic.

Jill's illness conflicts with the Superbowl party that Tim has planned for months.

Al is nominated bachelor of the year which gets Ilene upset when women start fawning over him.

When Randy's date falls on the dance floor that Tim built for the party, Tim has to take her to the hospital. Meanwhile, Wilson has a out of clothes experience in his steam tent.

When Tim tries to help a friend out by having Tool Time fix Bennie's grandma's house, the house is accidentally blown up.

Tim and his sister in-law accidentally see each other naked when his brother and wife come to visit.

Tim and two bachelors from his audience discuss wives and girlfriends, while their women tune in at home.

Tim and Al have plans for a hockey night at the arena only to discover that the girls have plans for them to go to see Waiting For Godot with them. They are then arrested when Tim attempts to sell the hockey tickets he can no longer use.

Tim spends a sleepless night watching his favorite "Tool Time" episodes as a result of overeating Polish food that does not agree with him.

Tim continues to spend a sleepless night watching tool time clips after overeating.

Visiting relatives cause problems for Jill, Tim and Al.

Tim and Jill must make a parenting decision when one of the boys is accused of stealing a Swiss army knife from the hardware store.

Jill plays matchmaker and introduces their next door neighbor Wilson to one of her professors.
