Episode 1
Tasha Raveley's husband Matt is killed in Afghanistan. His parents, Paula and Howard, a veteran military couple,organize a military funeral but Tasha struggles to accept her widowhood and channels her affections into her young son Alfie.

Episode 2
Louise confronts Nicki over her tryst with Joe (Warren Brown). Tasha's mother arrives from Spain and clashes with Paula Raveley over how to raise their grandson Alfie. Claire goes for a job interview.

Episode 3
Pete returns home and confronts Claire about her secret job, while Claire tries to convince Pete's daughter Millie (Rosie Day, "Outlander") to end her affair with a young soldier.

Episode 4
The inquest to determine the cause of Matt Raveley's death turns up evidence that paints the late Matt as a hero, but also sends Paula into disarray when Tom backs a verdict of "Accidental Death."

Episode 5
Joe returns from Afghanistan to find that Louise is prepared to take measures against him to protect herself and their children. Howard and Paula struggle with their finances. Meanwhile, Tasha and Tom reckon with the fallout of Matt's death.

Episode 6
In this emotional series finale, Claire gets cold feet, Tasha goes into labor, Paula and Howard reconcile their grief and Louise prepares for a difficult goodbye.
